Our Mission
Kampus Share is the first peer-to-peer "Library of Things" exclusively for the student community. We connect students who have things with students who need them, creating a sustainable and affordable ecosystem right here on campus. We don't own any items; we simply provide the secure platform that makes sharing possible.
How to Rent an Item
- 1 Browse the All Rentals page and find the item you need.
- 2 Click the "Rent" button to open a WhatsApp chat with us. The item name will be pre-filled.
- 3 We will confirm the item's availability and guide you through a one-time security verification (for first-time renters).
- 4 Pay the rental fee via MoMo.
- 5We deliver the item to your doorstep
- 6When your time of usage is due, Make sure to notify us so that we come for the item (This is to prevent you from paying extra)
- NB: Failure to return item on time will attract some extra charges
Security & Accountability Protocol
Trust is the foundation of our community. To protect item owners and ensure accountability, we have a mandatory verification process and clear terms of use.
First-Time Renter Verification
To rent for the first time, you will be required to provide the following on WhatsApp:
- A clear, current selfie.
- A clear photo of the FRONT of your valid Ghana Card.
- And a clear photo of your student ID
Accountability for Damages
By using our service to rent an item, you explicitly agree that you are fully responsible for returning it in the same condition you received it. If an item is damaged, lost, or stolen while in your care, you will be held accountable and will be required to pay for the repair or full replacement cost. Failure to do so will result in being banned from the platform and further action.
User Agreement & Theft Policy
By using this service, You understand that if an item is not returned by the agreed-upon time without communication, Kampus Share has the right to use these documents to file a formal report with the KNUST University Police for theft of property.
